Medical Staff and Facility

• 14 Board Certified Cardiologist and/or Electrophysiologists
• Our physicians have served as authors and principal investigators on many pivotal trials
• Total clinical staff of 150 employees including 11 physician extenders
• Full spectrum cardiology practice: Consultative, Invasive, Interventional, EP, Nuclear, Stress Echocardiography, and Outreach Clinics
• Utilized two 400 bed hospitals, each with designated chest pain centers and ten total cath labs
• Patient population drawn from entire East Texas area of approximately 1.5 million
• Research Department has phone, fax, e-mail, copy machine, secured storage area for research documents, lab, and private rooms for monitoring activities and patient evaluation

Research Highlights

• Monthly IRB meetings
• Participate in approximately 80 inpatient and outpatient multi-national trials; over 1500 total patients enrolled
• Pivotal trials: EPIC, PURSUIT, EPILOG, TIMI series, GUSTO series, PRAISE series, CARS, VALHEFT, WIZARD, CAPRICORN, and REPLACE II
• Coordinators are certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (CCRC)
• We provide quick study start up, rapid patient enrollment, clean data and REPUTATION!

• Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants Department of Research is located in East Texas, just two hours from Dallas
