Q. What are your hours of operation?
A. We are open from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Q. How do I make an appointment?
A. Please contact our appointment scheduling department at 595-5514. New patients must be referred by a physician.
Q. What information will the appointment scheduler need when I call?
A.

Patient's full name
Social Security Number
Date-of-Birth
Insurance Carrier
Telephone Number
Description of your problems
Name of referral physician
Referral number if applicable
Does your visit require precertification?
Other helpful information:
Have you ever been treated by any other physician(s)?
Have you had any cardiovascular procedures or test?
Have you ever been treated in an emergency room or hospitalized?
To expedite your care, please bring a copy of your medical records from your referral physician relating to cardiac procedures.

Q. What do I need to know about follow-up visits?
A. For follow-up visits, it is advisable to make your appointment before you leave the office. If this is not possible, scheduling will contact you to insure your appointment is within the time-frame recommended by your physician.
Q. Which insurance companies are you affiliated with?
A. We accept private insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid.
We also accept some Managed Care carriers.
As a courtesy, we will bill secondary insurance carriers for our patients.
We accept assignment for Medicare.
We also accept credit cards.
Q. How long will it take for me to get my test results?
A. Results from tests conducted in the clinic are available within five (5) working days unless the test is positive at which time you and your referring physician will be notified immediately.
Q. Can I contact your office after hours?
A. After hours, the CVC answering service will direct you to the appropriate physician for care depending on the medical situation.
Q. Can I request a CVC physician if I find myself in the emergency room of a hospital?
A. If you present yourself to a local hospital emergency room for cardiac care you CAN request a CVC physician.
Q. How do I get refills for my prescription?
A. Prescription refills are handled by calling 903-595-5586, which is an automated answering device and, we prefer your pharmacists initiate the call to avoid miscommunication.
Q. Who can help me by phone if I have medical questions?
A. Medical questions by phone are handled by a staff of nurses and reviewed by a physician or a Mid-Level Provider, then the information is relayed to you as soon as possible.
Q. Who provides medical services?
A. Physicians
Mid-Level Providers: They function as an extension of the physician.
Nursing Staff: They support both Mid-Level Providers and physicians.
Medical Technicians:
  Nuclear Medicine
  Echocardiography (ultrasound testing)
  Holter (24-hour or 30-day heart event monitor)
Q. What ages of patients do you treat?
A. We provide cardiac care to people 18 years or older.
