Cardiac PET Scanning is Now Available at Tyler CVC

Tyler CVC is the first in this region to offer this state-of-the-art technology. Cardiac PET scanning is a non-invasive procedure that reveals the health and level of function of the vessels supplying blood to the heart, heart muscle and surrounding tissue. This scan is particularly useful in the detection of coronary artery disease and determining whether a patient's heart muscle will benefit from coronary artery bypass surgery or angioplasty.
